200 Hour YTT
Yoga teaching is a practice in it self. Yoga teaching becomes apart of one’s sadhana (spiritual practice). It is life nurturing in it’s own way, to share this practice and allow those you care for to care for themselves.
When the teacher is ready, the student appears. When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
Hannah Rae Block and Rex Dean Villena offer you nurturing, personal, and empowering training with lifelong support on your yoga path. Our 200 hour training is 6 months long to cultivate community and allow time to integrate material while balancing your everyday life.
Our guest teachers have years of experience and are specialists in the topics they cover.
Last year’s teachers guest teachers include Jon Old Rowe on Mantra and Chanting, Brent Honnerlaw on Sound Healing, and Jenn Richardson on Conscious Death Practice.
Hannah studied how to teach Hatha yoga at a studio once called Happy U Namaste in Ocean Beach under the guidance of Karson McGinley. She followed her 200 hr. Program with 500 hr. Massage therapy program at ICOHS San Diego and a 100 hr. Anusara Immersion with Robin Christ.
Rex studied how to teach Vinyasa yoga privately with a woman named Helen Cloots in Pacific Beach. He and Hannah continued their studies for 500 hrs. at The Soul of Yoga Institute in Encinitas, California under the guidance of Monique Lonner. Their teachers from this program include Leslie Kaminoff, Tom Myers, Joe Barnett, Leela Durga, Antonio Sausys, Amy Winetraub, Sherry Zak Morris, and many others.
Hannah and Rex continue to share the art of teaching yoga, how to allow the lessons yoga provides to fill all aspects of one’s life, and how to build a safe and loving community where inclusivity and acceptance is continuous and nurtured in any room, with any student.
We believe in teaching yoga for all beings, for all demographics and populations. Because ultimately, under one sky, we are one family.
